PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD)’s commitment to preventing law violations is poured into providing a reporting system to facilitate compliance and reporting of legal issue allegations, known as the Whistle Blowing System.
How Important Is the Whistle-Blowing System?
Every corporation, including KFTD, has the obligation to provide a mechanism to facilitate the unethical acts report where the case would be investigated to reveal the truth. By providing such an easy reporting system, threatening wrongdoings risk can be mitigated and a KKN-free environment can be maintained.
What Is the Purpose of Whistle Blowing System?
WBS is purposely available to act as an early warning system of law violation and a means of KFTD criminal report for both the internal employees and the public. This system allows KFTD to effectively handle the report while protecting the identity of the whistleblowers.
How Does The Whistle-Blowing System Work?
A systematic procedure is performed every time a report is received. The report can be sent through KFTD’s email, WhatsApp, or official letters addressed to the Risk Management Compliance Subunit in Central Jakarta.
The Super Admin will check the compliance based on the evidence provided by the whistleblowers. The output of the identification is divided into two:
1. Unqualified
The case will be closed if the case is proven to be unqualified or insufficient. The whistleblowers will be informed about the final decision of the case.
2. Qualified
Once the evidence is proven to be qualified and sufficient, an investigation team will be formed. The team is given the authority to call witnesses to give testimony. The offender has the right to refuse and provide explanations and evidence to defend themselves. The authorized parties will then make a decision based on the results of the investigation. Each result will adhere to its appropriate protocol.
The Blowing System is a safe and systematic means to report the allegation of KFTD criminal offenses, indicating that KFTD shows its actions in preventing law violations and bringing a clean work environment.
